Baker

Farm Club is looking for an experienced baker to join our kitchen staff. Our grain driven bakery program focuses on naturally leavened breads as well as cookies, scones and pastries for our market bakery and restaurant menu. We stone mill locally and regionally grown, organic whole grains for use in our baked goods and breads.

Applicants must be experienced bakers, willing to work independently but as a part of our entire market kitchen team.

32-40 hours per week

$17-$20 per hour

Requirements:

  • Impeccable attendance, friendly, strong work ethic.

  • One year of baking experience, working with natural leavened doughs and whole grains is a plus.

  • Servsafe Certification preferred.

  • High standards of cleanliness, organization and presentation.

  • Ability to adapt and have fun with the flow of fresh ingredients from the farm to the kitchen and curiosity for food sourcing.

Duties Include:

  • Mix, shape, proof and bake naturally leavened, wholegrain breads.

  • Follow production schedules.

  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

  • Produce baked goods that meet requirements for quality and quantity.

  • Receipt and oversight of supply deliveries.

  • Close the bakery work space properly following checklists and directions.

  • Perform other related duties as required.
