Full-Time Prep Cook
Farm Club is looking to add an experienced prep cook to our kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized hard worker with a broad kitchen skillset. Working in combination with the chef and sous chefs, this person will execute the daily prep cooking tasks of our high-volume kitchen. Candidates should be prepared to work early morning shifts.
We grow, cook, process and brew food from our farm and from other farms in Michigan. The hustle and commitment that our staff puts into Farm Club is a demonstration of what is possible when a community of people with a common goal come together and dream big.

32-40 hours per week
$18-$22 per hour based on experience.
Requirements:
Impeccable attendance, friendly, strong work ethic.
Two years of kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
High standards of cleanliness, organization and presentation.
Ability to adapt and have fun with the flow of fresh ingredients from the farm to the kitchen and curiosity for food sourcing.
Duties Include:
Coordinate daily prep lists with chef and sous chefs.
Execute recipes and prep tasks to exacting standards.
Ensure tasks are completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.
Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers and griddles.
Receive and oversee supply deliveries.
Perform other related duties as required.
